Cathy provides private lessons at the Dusty Strings Music Shop in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle (http://www.dustystrings.com), and at D’Aigle Autoharps and Folk Instruments in SeaTac (http://daigleharp.com) She prefers to schedule lessons on an as-needed basis, since most adults learn at different speeds, and the autoharp is something that is often best learned on your own with intermittent help from a teacher. PLEASE CONTACT CATHY BELOW FOR INFORMATION ABOUT LESSONS.
Workshops are scheduled at Dusty Strings, and D’Aigle Autoharps 3-4 times each year. It’s best to contact the store for the time of the next event.
The Seattle Autoharp Week (http://seattleautoharpweek.com) is another wonderful place to get intensive instruction.
Cathy also often teaches at the Ozark Folk Center, usually the first weekend in June, and can be found intermittently at other festivals such as the Mountain Laurel Autoharp Gathering, California Autoharp Gathering, Northwest Autoharp Gathering, and Northwest Folklife. Check here for more specifics.
